I subscribe to a lot of random promotional channels and I discover a lot of new/independent artists as well (not listed).
Rock/Metal: Alice In Chains, Nirvana (In Utero, mostly), Days of the New, Flyleaf, Soundgarden, Tantric, Taproot, Wolfmother, Boy Hits Car, Adema, Static-X, etc. Classic Rock is also good.
