I once tripped on some really strong stuff with a guy in a very small two room shed/clubhouse during the winter. One of the rooms had a small wood burning stove in it. We covered the doorway between the rooms with a heavy blanket and lit a couple red lights in the heated room and a single small purple light in the colder room.
I swear that moving from one to the other you didn't feel the temperature but rather the color. I remember being crouched by the doorway and lifting only a small section of the blanket and slowly moving my arm back and forth between rooms. It was almost like moving it in and out of cold or hot water - the air actually had substance to it.
That was one of the best ever for me.
