Okay so we'll go with Goofle's pick then, as he is next on the list. The 1973 film 'Paper Moon'.

As P.T. Barnum put it, "There's a sucker born every minute."

'During the Great Depression, a con man finds himself saddled with a young girl who may or may not be his daughter, and the two forge an unlikely partnership.'

I haven't seen this film, and I'm excited to check it out. Here's some snippets of criticism.

'A charming mixture of Hawksian comedy and Fordian lyricism.'
Geoff Andrew, Timeout

'I wonder how many moviegoers will be prepared for the astonishing confidence and depth that Tatum brings to what's really the starring role.'
Roger Ebert

'Has the Depression ever been this much fun?'
Christopher Null, filmcritic.com
