23. Sarcófago - INRI - (1987)




A primitive blast of hardcore punk, merged with a filthy strain of brutal metal somewhere in-between thrash, black, and death metal. There weren't many albums this intense back then, and from the opening blast beat to the ending sample of some guy taking a nasty shit and then flushing the toilet, this is an aural assault that only the trvest of metalheads are worthy of listening to. If you've ever heard Mayhem's De Mysteriis Dom Sathans, then this album will reveal exactly what that band had been listening to just before recording it.
