It's not about the maneuvering, it's just that you're never entirely sure of the trajectory of the stream at first. Sometimes it comes out a little... crooked, and you need to compensate. Especially if it's early in the morning, or you just whacked off. Multiple streams after orgasm are not at all uncommon.
