Took The Band on the highway to work this morning, didn't care for most of the album but King Harvest and Up On Cripple Creek stood out to me. Looking for more tunes along these lines. Laid back roots rock but still enough southern grit, twang, and movement to confidently soundtrack a riverside bonfire. Minimal ballads, minimal piano. Harmonicas and twangy leads encouraged. I've already worked my way through the obvious: CCR, Skynyrd, Allman Bros.
