69. Dio Holy Diver 1983


Dio had already starred on several classic albums before he formed his own band, which just happened to be called Dio. For many this may have been his finest moment as even Dio himself found this album a hard act to follow. The vocal chords of this almost mythical vocalist make this album quintessential traditional metal in every aspect.
