I only really started exploring it this summer when I picked up 1984, Fahrenheit 451, and Lord of the Flies from the library. They hooked me. However, I've discovered that if I read too much of the genre without variety, I get really depressed and cynical. You should have seen me after I'd read those three pretty much non-stop for a week.
