For a second I thought you meant you were writing an essay for her as a means of flirting. Like, she'd be flustered if you wrote an essay as a gift for her and not doing her homework or whatever your circumstances. I thought it a very odd but interesting concept. Imagine if we gave the objects of our affections essays as a means of expressing our love... wouldn't that be a weird thing? Complete with like, footnotes and a bibliography and a summary and table of contents.
