Paul Shapiro - Shofarot Verses

Ok, this is a Tzadik release, so here's a sampling from the genres that this album covers: klezmer, rock, surf, samba, jazz, R&B, soul, and so on. It has the great Marc Ribot playing guitar on it, and it's a fun and upbeat album full of catchy saxophone riffage and great solos. There's a surprising lack of shofar (ram's horn pictured next to the sax on the album cover) on most of the album though.
