There is no evidence, anecdotal or otherwise, which proves stepping on cracks can be hazardous to your mother's health. In this case (the ouija board) it's a case of hedging your bets on the safe side and erring on the side of caution. No point tempting fate, unlike you, JWB, whom I expect we'll at some point hear mysteriously vanished after entering a haunted house on Halloween wearing a Friday 13th t-shirt carrying a oiuja board under your arm and muttering "Come at me bro"...
