The first Doctor Who VHS to come out was in 1983 and that retailed at £40, which works out at £120.50 in todays money.
I remember going into a video shop around the same time when ET was released to rent and they were selling copies to buy at £80.
I'm not sure any film is worth £240 no matter how good it is.
