Watched Whiplash last night. I have to agree with everyone that said it was a fantastic movie. The amount of emotion conveyed in the movie with subtlety was amazing. I literally found myself tearing up at times and had no explanation as to why. I really feel both actors should have both been nominated for best supporting actor nods as both were dual stars of the movie. I can't say enough about how amazing this movie was. The way in which it was filmed really seemed to draw you in. The scene at the end was one of the most astounding endings of a movie in recent and late history.
I'll be purchasing it soon, because i'd really like to watch it again and add it to my collection. Paul Reiser was really good also as the consumate good dad. What an amazing experience it was to watch this. When people have said Tour De Force in the past I always felt people were bull****ting themselves, but now I understand.
