This here's proof that something can be so bad it's brilliant. Fails so spectacularly at every effort it makes to be a po-faced sci-fi/action movie and viable sequel that it's actually pretty awesome. Michael Ironside and a young John McGinley are so over the top as the film's villains that they're just an absolute joy to watch. Sean Connery (nonsensical as his character in this movie is) looks like he's really enjoying his role here too, and he's got a good, fun screen chemistry with co-star Christopher Lambert. Also, the latter' old man voice in the 1st act is just about the most unintentionally funny thing ever.
Put simply, I love this movie, and for all it's baffling plotholes, ridiculous performances and every other wrong decision they made in production, it's actually the film I enjoy the most out of the whole Highlander franchise.
