I don't know exactly what Paul meant, but I think he is questioning the notion that something can only be considered "good" if it's popular. Learning about those less popular artist and their interest that he mentioned in a previous post can broaden your awareness on the topic. I guessing a lot of people are (or maybe just one person is) thinking Paul failed miserably trying to add to the conversation, but I say kudos to Paul for trying.
