Wovenhand, The Threshing Floor

Rollicking alt-country with heavy doses of dark americana and world music influences. This scratched that "gritty folk" itch I've been feeling awhile.

Gayngs, Relayted

This band has two dozen members. It reminds me of a borderline-orchestral indie rock tribute to every song that ever hit the radio waves in the 80's. It's kind of ridiculous, but I enjoyed it thoroughly.
