I was kind of bored today and I usually search around other music forums and wanted to try this one out. Seems like a nice community. Listening to music is one of my favorite hobbies; researching new bands, talking to people about them and collecting merchandise of bands.

I mainly listen to metal like Black, Death, Thrash and Funeral Doom. Some of my favorite bands are Windir, Behemoth, Teitanblood, Suffocation, Opeth, Evoken, Nokturnal Mortum, Darkspace, Paysage D'hiver, Marduk and Alice In Chains.

I don't just listen to metal though. I like 60's-80's pop and rock. I would like to listen to more classical music since bands like Aquilus have some beautiful classical sections that I think I could dive deeper into the actual genre.

That's my hobby! Sometimes I think I spend too much time listening to and researching music, but it makes me feel good so it can't be a negative thing.
