not gonna lie i do judge all you people who don't rate illmatic

i think you don't get 90's east coast hip hop that well if you don't at least like illmatic

but i'm not one of those who gets mad if you don't rate it among the top ten albums or whatever
i remember the first time i heard it it sounded boring as **** to me

i developed a taste over time for minimalist dark hip hop beats laced with sick verses

open question to anyone who doesn't feel illmatic:

what do you think of mobb deep - the infamous?

black moon - enta da stage?

smif n wessun - dah shinin?

organized konfusion - stress?

obviously pick and choose any of the above that you've heard/have a comment on... i don't need everyone to rate every album
