Interesting. I was under the impression he was leaning more towards Classic Rock/HM, and Blues Rock. I've never heard him play anything classical honestly. I know Miami University of Music was a conservatory filled with Classical and Jazz Greats. Metheny and Pastorious being the big tickets. I just was introduced to Morse as a prog jazz/rock n roll guitarist. Surprising to hear that Dimeola was a part of that considering he has such large jazz leanings himself. Mclaughlin can generally play anything he wants and Delucia has classical in his history so not really surprised with those two.
