You know I've only ever seen Misty Knight in a couple of issues of
Uncanny X-Men from back in the seventies, when her entire roll and explanation was being Jean Grey's roommate while she was living away from the X Mansion. I didn't even know she was a thing back then, so it's always amused me to hear people talking about Jean Grey's roommate.
