During the first attack on the beach, how Brody races up, but won't actually go into the water because he's afraid.
How Quint asks Hooper to tie a specific knot, which he does, and when he gets it thrown back at him, he doesn't even look at it.
Hooper brings wine to the Brody's house as a polite gesture and then just asks if he can gobble down their unfinished dinner plates.
I love it.
