Hey guys,

I recently heard a song called 'We Used To Vacation' by 'Cold War Kids' and there is a solo at around 1:23. The first time I heard it, I absolutely hated it but it has really grown on me. It's quite out of time and in the wrong key. I actually really like it and I'd love to produce some stuff like it but I have no idea what genre it is.

Can anyone give me some advice?
