i was suggesting one or the other, not both
but by taking a bottle of nyquil that is precisely what you're doing as it contains both ingredients. plus it adds tylenol and some other non-useful chemicals to the mix
as for dxm... smoke some weed with it. smoothens the ride a bit and kills the nausea
or if you can get your hands on it.... take a single promethazine pill with it
