Haha, I get what you're saying - I did exactly that but after a while it turned out I really don't want to do some of the things I can to maximize my a**hole factor.
Only fallout games had a similar impact on me - despite wanting to try out every possible option, I never managed to force myself to become a slaver or a Ceasars legion member. I just couldn't do it.
Games that get you emotionally involved like this are rare and should be treasured. A great example of a good game that didn't get it right was Skyrim - tons of great features and a completely emotionally un involving world and characters.
