What were your impressions of this album after the first five minutes?

Above average 60's psych/rock.

Did those first impressions change as you listened to the album?

No.

Were the opening 2-3 tracks or the closing 2-3 tracks stronger?

I preferred the opening tracks.

Did you find you enjoyed this album more or less on repeated listens?

A bit more with each listen.

What was your favourite track?

Topanga Windows.

What was your least favourite track?

Elija. It seemed too unfocused and went on too long for my ears.

What did you think of the variety of tracks presented?

Enough to keep it interesting to the end.

How would you describe the overall mood?

60's West Coast psychedelic vibe.

Would you listen to it again for purposes other than this club?

Have heard it several times before.

How well do you know this band/artist?

Have also heard their other albums, including solo albums by Randy California.

If you're familiar with this band/artist, how does this album compare to their other work?

My favorite is probably 'Twelve Dreams of Dr. Sardonicus' but I find this one enjoyable to listen to as well.

How would you improve this album?

I'd probably leave 'Elijah' off the album just because it's the least interesting track to me.

Would you recommend this album to a friend?

Yes, if they like 60's era psych/rock.

Will you be exploring this band/artists' other material?

Already heard it.

What did you think of the vocals?

Good to very good.

What did you think of the instrumentation?

Very good.

What did you think of the production?

Also very good.

Any other thoughts to share?

Like Moss already said, I think Jimmy Page borrowed one small part from 'Taurus' but not enough to warrant a lawsuit.

Rate the album out of ten. No decimals!

7/10
