Meh. It's a good/nearly great album to be sure, but I prefer the darkness and complexity of
Tyranny and Mutation. It's like their
Stained Class.
Secret Treaties rules, but it just doesn't have quite enough bite. It's like Deep Purple's
Machine Head, but without the completely flawless songwriting to overcome it's less laid back chillness.
