Except for Noise and Drone I like some stuff from those other genres.

Let's try something. How about everyone participating in this discussion list 5 genres you generally dislike and why.

1. Grindcore - Just can't get into that vocal style. Plus, the heaviness is non-stop with basically zero dynamics.

2. Noise - Well, it's mostly just noise, which I don't find musically pleasing.

3. Drone - Not enough harmonic variation. Too monotone most of the time.

4. Hard core Be Bop - I appreciate the talent involved but it tends to be too busy and lacks a firm harmonic foundation.

5. Garage Rock - While I like raw rock and roll I dislike this genre cause it's basically too raw all the time.
