King Crimson have had many lineup changes, other than having gone through 6 bassists, they have also gone through 6 drummers, 5 vocalists, 2 saxophonists/flautists, 1 violinist and 4 session musicians...Also in 1982 they hired Adrian Belew as a second guitarist and he has been in the band ever since (also providing vocals) and Trey Gunn has played chapman stick and warr guitar on Crimsons last 3 studio albums, chapman and warr are unusual instruments that are in some ways a link between guitar and bass.

In short, Crimson only has one member who has appeared on every album, which is Robert Fripp.
That's crazy, I've never heard of a group that had that many changes in members. You've done your studying I can see...
