Anyways, now I'm playing the early '90's VGA version of the first Police Quest game which fixes some of the really stupid Sierra bullsh it deaths. Actually as far as Sierra adventure games of this era go, this one is probably one of the most straight forward ones. I've only used a walkthrough so I can have access to the crime code things you have to enter when you book someone into the county jail, and that's only because DOSbox spazzes out if you alt-tab out. Story is pretty dry and weirdly cliched given that it was developed by a retired California Highway Patrol officer.

When I saw this it reminded me that I have all these games on 3 boxsets. King's Quest Collection 7 games, Space Quest 6 games and Police Quest 4 Games I bought them a few years ago and only played the King's Quest games. Played through the first bunch of King's Quest games which were too hard, old graphics and dying for any silly reason so I kind of gave up on the whole thing.
How does Police Quest measure up against the first few King's Quest games?
