"Empty Halls"
My soul is trapped in these walls
confined to a life long gone
To the promise of eternal love
To the laughter that echoed in these halls
This was to be the perfect home
Our sanctuary above the world
We placed all our hopes in this foundation
But could not reach our own expectations
For even love lies
And allows emotion to fill his eyes
With promises he cannot keep
That passing time will take for granted
But all we hope and demanded
Is still ingrained in these walls
In the place we once called our home
Where all my hope still lay cemented
