eSports
I don't know how many of you are familiar with the concept of eSports but for those of you who aren't here is a vice doc so you can catch up on the subject.
This video only covers the LoL championship but there are other gaming tournaments for games like Marvel Vs Capcom, Dota 2, Fifa and many others.
I imagine for people who are not into gaming these may seem real silly but i guarantee you for gamers this is not, like it or not videogames are at the height of their popularity and are crossing over big time to popular culture HOWEVER is this just a fad or a sign of what is to come?
With this happening is not crazy to think that future sports could be played digitally or that even robots will replace humans on the field, as much as this is a gaming subject is a also technological subject, how far are we going to go?
i find there many sides to this subject with lots of pros/cons, it brings up many questions and even concerns so im interested to see what you all think
