The Zero Theorem
A newer Gilliam film where he really does a good job of creating his own little dystopian universe. I liked it a fair bit but I feel like it would benefit with less reliance on CG and a better soundtrack because those gave it a somewhat cartoony element that didn't quite mesh with the themes it covered. Christoph Waltz and Matt Damon put on great performances alongside the rest of the cast.
The Babadook
I ****ing loved this film. It's rare where I can watch a horror film and actually be frightened throughout when the movie doesn't use any jump scares. The cast was incredible along with the soundtrack and camera work in this blend of spectral and psychological horror. I had wanted to see this since Exo posted up his review in here and now it's on Netflix so you have no excuse to miss this. Honestly I think it's one of the best horror films I've ever seen. 10/5
