Anyway, the hip hop album I rec'd is pretty unique so it might be different enough from what you've heard to not compare it to anything else that you already hate.

Obviously, use your head. I'm talking about someone recommending say four black metal, or six hip-hop, or three soul records in a row. Rock is way too wide a description. Dammit man, I'm not going to go into a long explanation. You know what I mean and why I have had to do this.
Final decision is up to me as to whether or not I accept your rec, how about that?
