Title: Machine gun etiquette
Artiste: The Damned
Genre: Punk
Track 1 (Love) Fast, loud and aggressive but with real melody
Track 2 (Hate) Bit too confused; very short. Not crazy about this one.
Track 3 (Love) Much better; I can make this one out and there's a good catchy melody plus a great organ solo!
Track 4 (Love) Soft piano intro then it just goes wild!
Track 5 (Love) There's a great sense of fun about this album so far. Some great guitar work here too.
Track 6 (Love) Great carnival atmosphere to this; the laughter starts off ironic, gets manic.
Track 7 (Love) Incredible guitar solo, really catchy tune
Track 8 (Love) Another great track
Track 9 (Love) Wonderful bassline in this, and almost Santana-grade guitar
Track 10 (Love) This one is just hilarious!
Track 11 (Love) Just brilliant. Wonderful guitar work on part one, then it goes into a sort of wild Country/Dire Straits feel for the second part. Excellent stuff.
End result: If this is considered a punk album then it's the first one I've enjoyed almost end to end.
So, Love or Hate? Love, for shoo-war!
