I generally try to stay out of inane threads and discussions, especially the constant bickering. I've been around MB for a long time and there's still some great discussion going on (see
re: homeostasis for a current example). It generally happens in a very few threads, but that tiny bit of activity is what keeps me here at the moment.
The rest of MB, particularly the uncivil bickering, is trash to me. And this site has been losing a lot of members who feel the same way up to very recently, I suspect.
I don't think MB
belongs to those who contribute to the inane bickerings and drama. I know it seems like it does - and has for a long time - but I don't think it should.
