Yeah I imagine that's part of it. There's also the whole immigration thing too. He has a permanent resident card (like our version of the green card) but I don't want the government all up in my face thinking he's just marrying me to become a citizen. You actually have to prove the legitimacy of the relationship in this case, before they issue a marriage license. F
