Title: The Soft Bulletin
Artiste: The Flaming Lips
Genre: Psychedelic Pop
Familiarity: Zero

Track 1(Love) What the Hell is this? I didn't expect this. This is ****ing gorgeous! Love the seventies-style motown-ish keyboards and the backing vocals.
Track 2(Love) This is great too. Very orchestral then it goes into a big buzzy synthy thing.
Track 3(Love) Very gentle, really liked that
Track 4(Love) The percussion is weird in this, but I do like it
Track 5(Love) Funny song, good fun; kind of in the mould of The Divine Comedy's “The pop singer's fear of the pollen count”.
Track 6(Love) Bassy piano is great on this, as is the percussion
Track 7(Love) The ambience on this is just lovely. Is it an instrumental? Yep.
Track 8(Love) That was just great too. Kind of reminded me a little of The Beautiful South
Track 9(Love) Kind of hear bits of Beatles here, very nice track
Track 10(Love) Wonderfully powerful opening, like something by Jim Steinman or someone, also reminded of Devin. Great track.
Track 11(Love) The way this track moves along really gets to me. Another great one. It's incredibly repetitive, but somehow that doesn't matter.
Track 12(Love) And a beautiful instrumental to end the album. Perfect.

End result: Not at all what I expected. Again, I thought some sort of indie fast rock or pop or something. This was just excellent all through. Not a bad thing to say about it. Nothing.

So, Love or Hate? I'm tempted to give this a True Love, but I'm gonna stick with Love
