Techno itself is a specific genre that's been around for awhile (it has multiple sub-genres as well). Techno isn't something I ever really got into, so I am unable to recommend any songs for you to check out.
#sadface.jpg. However, what I would recommend as an excellent place to start is the online-radio service
Digitally Imported. You can't flip through songs or whatever, but the stations offer a fine-tuned, genre-specific type of listening experience.

^^ Just click on techno tab and browse a few of the channels to see if one of them is in your wheelhouse. If you want to explore other genres, you can do that on there as well.
