Bit of a blast from the past, but..
Vex Red - Start With A Strong and Persistent Desire
Vex Red are easily one of the best bands to have come out of the UK. This album is sensational, 13 years on, and I've been absolutely caning it the last few weeks, finding it very hard to listen to anything else. A very complex piece of work, and it sounds like it could have been recorded yesterday. It's aged so well. Under usual circumstances, if you told me to listen to a band that had merged metal and electronica, I'd probably tell you to get on yer bike, but these guys have pulled it off in a way which isn't cringe worthy or straight up garbage. It's ****ing amazing and one of my all time favourite records. Would recommend hugely.
