Yeah my husband hates them lol. I think a lot of it has to do with specific Hertz and I've read that a lot of the therapeutic benefit can get jumbled and lost in most devices. I usually listen on my iPhone so that may have something to do with it too.
As far as the placebo effect is concerned... I'm a pretty cynical person by nurture, however, if you've ever experienced a migraine brought on by changes in atmospheric pressure.... You wouldn't care! Whatever works
