How come you chose Celtic Frost over Katatonia?
My main problem with Monotheist is that there's no break. The album is almost constant heaviness, which I personally find lacking in creativity. Brave Murder Day is much lighter and easier on the ears, but there's also more variety with Katatonia. There's a bit of heaviness and a bit of lightness here and there, and the way it's spaced works perfectly in my opinion.
