i can't really get into any rap that isn't in a language i understand. i mean i might like the sound of it or something but i can't listen to it too much. cause for me, part of rap is what the rapper is saying. so i just feel like i'm missing a big aspect of whatever artist i'm listening to if i try listening to some foreign rapper. my friend tried to put me onto some russian rap and it sounded bleak and cool and i wanted to be able to understand the words but i couldn't. maybe one day i will speak russian or french and then those artists will appeal to me. atm i'm still focusing on trying to learn chinese. can only imagine what rap in chinese would sound like
