Yes it does. First rule of metal. Don't sellout. Metallica and Megadeth sold out. Period. They've recorded some great albums for sure but to be considered GREAT you have to stay true. You can argue it all night and day long. These aren't opinions these are facts. Slayer is a thrash band as we speak. Metallica hasn't been since the 80s. So go listen to AJFA and get back to me when you hear bass and cling onto 3 albums and pray for them to make a decent album.
