As far as my vote for "best solo". That is really really tough. One that comes to mind initially is Rush's "Limelight".
I think it gets overlooked many times because we've all heard the song a million times, and it just sounds so easy. It isn't. Not only is it fairly complex, but the whole band is in perfect sync as they pull off, maybe not the "best solo", but certainly one of the best executed solos I am aware of.
