110. Thin Lizzy - Thunder and Lightning - (1983)
The final album from Lizzy prior to the untimely death of Phil Lynott, this is as great a swansong and farewell as any band could ever hope to produce. Even had they somehow known their leader was going to die, they could not have created a more fitting last studded fist to the world than this album. From the powerful opener and title track, through the fabulous "Cold sweat", the heart-wrenching "The sun goes down" and right to the final track, the unintentionally prophetic "Heart attack" which gives Lynott the final words "Mamma I'm dyin' dyin'!" this is a gem and you need to hear it.
