Passenger of Shit - Floating With My Poo (2006)
This is the other album recommended to me by Goofle based on my interest in fast, loud, and out of control electronic music. Add disgusting to that list of adjectives and that also sums up this release pretty well. Stylistically, the album sounds like the mutant love child of an orgy involving Agoraphobic Nosebleed, Otto von Schirach, Shitmat, Igorrr, Atari Teenage Riot, music from a 1980s instructional video, and the noisy parts of the first Crystal Castles album. Most of the running time is an all-out aural assault—someone screaming in your face about various bodily functions, jackhammer beats pounding you into the ground, samples of who-the-fuck-knows flying in and out while waves of distortion crash into you and cheesy synthesizers straddle the line between unbearably awful and amazing. Needless to say I loved it.

This guy can scream about snorting white poop up a goat's ass and draw as many penises, vaginas, and assholes on his album covers as he wants, but it still can't hide the fact the he 100% knows how to write unique, dynamic, engaging music. The song "Stapletapewormsonmypenis" is a perfect example of this. Despite him yelling "FEEL THE BLOOD GUSHING FROM YOUR ANUS" over and over, despite the distorted screams, despite the noise breakdowns, despite the cheeseball synthesizers, this track is actually catchy as hell. That's right, Passenger of Shit, on an album called Floating With My Poo, displays some serious pop songwriting chops. He even knows not to overstay his welcome. At 24 minutes, this album is long enough to make you feel sufficiently beaten into submission while being short enough to leave you wanting more.

Truly, this is the kind of release that people will either love or hate, but if anything I said above appeals to you, you should probably give it a listen.
