Just so you're up to speed:
- milk is no longer delivered to your door
- doctors don't make house calls anymore
- you don't have to run down to the creek for water anymore (it's probably polluted anyway)
- people aren't dying from tuberculosis in mass numbers anymore because we have a vaccine for that now
