I haven't heard 7l & Esoteric's newest stuff but I like them ~2004. I've posted up some of their tracks in the hiphop reco thread.

His rhymes are have a battle rap feel to them, but Idk if he's considered a battle rapper. I've never actually heard him in a battle.
