I's strange that I found out that I had ancestry from four of Iran's major ethnic groups a month ago, I sought Googoosh because I heard a French radio programme with French-Afghan cineaste Atiq Rahimi. I had no idea it would take over my life. It can't be that genes effect the ethnicty of the music we enjoy - can it?
