That happened to me when I was in the Army after a day of loading milk crates off of a 2.5 ton many years ago. The next morning, I couldn't get out of bed. Our squad leader was pounding on my door, yelling at me since I missed morning formation, and all I could do was yell back that I couldn't move because of my back. I ended up going to 97 general (military hospital in Germany) and got some pain meds. It was gone in a day or so.
Fast forward to last week, I was sitting in a fold-up chair and one of the legs gave way. I didn't think much about it until I went to get up. The same fucking pain hit me like a claymore. I couldn't even stand and ended up on all fours on the floor writhing in pain. I did some stretching, and twisting in a chair, then hit a hot tub for about an hour and the pain was gone.
Weird that nothing like that has ever happened to me in the time between those two incidents.
